Christmas for me is the time for family, friends and to enjoy the festive cheer. I just love the atmosphere of the Christmas at home, in order to create an experience for a truly magical Christmas I always pay attention to the important details. From decorating my home to planning the meal at the Christmas dinner, there are so many ways to make the season and the moment very special. Decorating your Home
- Christmas Tree: As we know for the center point of the Christmas celebration is the Christmas tree. It is a focal point of your home decor this season. - Christmas Lights: Your home and with it you too will feel the festive mood if you illuminate it with any type of light. - Festive table settings: One of the main point of the Christmas time is the memorable Christmas dinner with the family or with the friends. The Christmas table decor can contain tablecloths, napkins and of course the centerpieces. - Cosy living room: The living room is the place you retire after the Christmas dinner and when you are already content with your girt you got, and just enjoy the moment with a good music, or a great positive Christmas movie. How to create a Festive Atmoshpere
- Christmas music: Play some Christmas music, maybe some evergreen songs, it always sets the mood. You can even sing if you dare, I would for sure not go for it as I have a bad voice but if you do, just take the leap and start it.
- Christmas Scents: What are the scents of the Christmas? It is for example the cinnamon, cloves, maybe the pine needles. These scents can be spread from the candles, potpourri or the best way is the essential oil diffusers. See some product ideas below.
- Christmas movies: Gather the family or the friends an watch a classic feelgood Christmas movie. This can be the evergreen Home alone, or the Grinch, these wont disappoint for sure.
- Christmas treats: I love to bake, so for me the best way to set the Christmas mood is to move to the kitchen and just bake and cook a lots of treats, cookies and cakes. It gives the atmosphere of the warm Christmas nights, and just fill the air with sweet scents.
This year we will spend our Christmas night with my family. This will include my dad and his partner who is a very good cook, and just makes the house like home. Love these times it will be very calm for me, we will eat a lot and enjoy the festive time with the persons I love.
